
Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Chris Vik started the project “Synaecide” in 2006 following years as a guitarist in local metal bands and producing electronica under the radar. He is now releasing music in a broad range of electronic styles - from twisted dancefloor bangers to glitchy down-tempo beats and everything either side.
Synaecide’s new EP, entitled Scientifica, released in mid 2009 through the IDMf Netlabel, continues his trend of delivering diverse releases to the underground electronic music community.
In addition to his debut album Manifestations (2008), Synaecide’s music has also been featured on various netlabel compilations which are all available for free and listed at:
